The GEEK SQUAD in Concord NH is a disgrace. Several neighbors reported that they "ruined" their computer(s)...The tech there told me that my laptop (HP) was dead and had to be replaced . Staples then corrected that by selling me a new battery which is all it needed (LAPTOP WAS 4 yrs old) .Staff THERE was courteous and knowledgable.........Best Buy had better clean up their act by hiring EXPERIENCED "Geeks" who are not trying to be salesmen!!

I'm writing this out of heart felt concern for a business I love dearly. This store in Concord, NH is one of the most depressing electronic stores to go into these days... and there aren't many of them! The shelves are 33% bare of any product in almost every aisle; most of the products there are less than 3 boxes deep with some boxes ripped open and taped up awkwardly; the key products for high marketing value to draw people in are tucked way in the back next to items that have nothing to do with each other (like, why would you put console gaming and a Woojer vest next to washer and drier appliances?! What's the strategy there??); the products in the center of the store aren't "in-demand" kind of items (like door bells and security locks... what is the Store Manager thinking?!); there's no theme that brings a vibe for people to get excited about. It all looks like how Radio Shack looked in its dying days of a warehouse full of old outdated electronic systems keeping shelves "looking" full when it's just junk that isn't selling. None of the associates know anything about the store or their products and only steer you away from them. This store reeks of management that just shows up to collect a check and goes home with no vigorously or drive to make it better tomorrow. Best Buy has become Meh Buy where it used to be the most awesome place to go and learn about new products, new computer setups, new styles and ideas that made you excited to spend thousands of dollars! Now, it's becoming a graveyard for phone cases, adapters of every kind imaginable, and useless Legos... like, wtf does Legos and candy have to do with electronics?! It's such a sad state of affairs when you have to watch something you love fade so much it looks like it's dying. If i was the Store Manager, I'd have a flow of displays where home theater systems are built with PRODUCTS ON MY SHELVES; home offices for podcasting with microphone and key light setups surrounding the computer and components that TELLS A STORY; associates walking around the store with cameras (we sell) taking pictures and showing off the quality of images and effects; horseshoes of shelves for theme based items like game consoles with portable speakers next to mini fridges for drinks and microwaves for snacks in bedrooms and dorm rooms. There's SO MANY themes and styles to play with it should NEVER look dead in there! And yet, here's my ode to a dying light that used to be my sanctuary to shop in. I guess the $20,000+ worth of electronics I've sunk into the business is all for nothing and I was duped just like everyone else. Farewell BestBuy and I loved you for all the joy you brought me and all my Marines and Soldiers over the past 20 years... we shall miss you when you're gone 😔

I traveled 2 hours to get my Iphone fixed. When I arrived, with an appointment, they informed me that the employees called in sick. I realize that people call in sick but a phone call would have been nice. Again, I drive 2 hours as this is the closest repair center for Apple Care.
