I purchased a Dell laptop at Best Buy, and was told it would arrive two days later. I received an email message at 8:06 PM the day of expected delivery, indicating that the item would not be delivered on time. The message went on to indicate that if I did not receive it within 24 days (I think), I could cancel the order. This caused me concern since I was expecting it within two days. This became a finger pointing exercise between the store, and the third-party delivery service, which apparently delivered the item to the wrong Best Buy, 30 miles away. For some unexplained reason, neither store was willing or able to ship the computer for more than 14 days. I eventually had to drive to the other Best Buy to pick up the item myself as neither would send it or send somebody for it. Due to the incorrect delivery, Best Buy was unable to cancel my order. This circus went on for two days. This was the worst retail experience I have ever had. Best Buy does not offer support to customers. I will never buy another product from Best Buy.
Horrible place to shop. Zero customer help, very short staffed and the Manager just said to wait because her 2 employees were busy, when she SHOULD have done her job and helped out waiting customers. The common consensus of the few customers waiting with me to be helped was that Best Buy is in the toilet and no longer a great place to shop. Employees could care less about helping customers in a timely fashion. I would suggest shopping elsewhere, especially if you require assistance because there is none.
