Went to buy a laptop and used a $5 member coupon to order it. The employee made a mistake on my shipping address even though I said the number of my house multiple times. When I received the online receipt I noticed the mistake within minutes of my purchase. They told me they couldn’t update the order so they would have to cancel and refund the order and start over but never told me if they did so I couldn’t use my coupon. When I requested they apply it to the new order the manager stated it’s only five dollars I can’t override that you want me to lose my job over $5 dollars. Sir your employee made the mistake not me, you never mentioned my coupon would be wasted and this is a $400 purchase you can’t just comp $5. Terrible customer service I cancelled the order and decided to purchase elsewhere.

This Company and this store are the worst. They advertise their Geek Squad services but apparently they contract with a third party company.that really has no idea about customer service. I set up an appointment for a Tuesday for Geek Squad services. After waiting all day they cancelled 5:30 in the afternoon. I then rescheduled for Friday. Same thing happened again. So I had to take 2 days off of work for nothing and they were not even appologetic about it. I was so infuriated I went to the Best Buy store in Holmdel, NJ to complain in person to the store manager as after about an hour on hold it was apparent that you could not actually reach any store supervisors by phone. I met with the store manager and that his attitude was very uncaring. Basically said it was a third part service provider and not his problem. I was a very loyal customer of Best Buy for at least the last 15 years and made substantial purchases over the years. Apparently Best Buy does not care about that. Needless to say I will never shop there again . .
