Unfair treatment—Manager refused to fix a mistake caused by their own staff.
I am extremely disappointed with the management at this Best Buy location. I went in to exchange an Oura ring as part of my Best Buy Total Membership. The unfortunate issue with Oura ring is you have to purchase them online for shipping due to sizing. I bought it during Black Friday to reflect the original price i bought my first ring, but because you buy it online you need to pre pay using your credit card instead of an exchange. When i came to pick up and exchange it was past Black Friday. To exchange they canceled my original order but now the ring jumped up in price. So they now wanted an extra $100.
Despite explaining the situation clearly, the manager who was in charge on Tuesday December 2 at 7 PM, refused to authorize the exchange. Instead of taking accountability for their team's error, they hid behind rigid policy and refused to help. It is unacceptable to punish a customer for a mistake made by store personnel. I’ve been a loyal Best Buy customer and a Best Buy Brand fan.
BTW i even offered to take my original purchase under the credit card I paid to deal with the situation another day with another manager and he refused that as well because the other employee cancelled the order.

Love this place, staff is very professional, always make effort to help customer shopping with confidence. Considering this is the lower tax zone, which only charges 3.5% tax for in store purchase, I buy all the tech stuff from this local store and it's also easy to try other gadgets in hand. Plus there is a Popeye nearby, which is a bonus for treat yourself after wondering around the store!

Went to Best Buy for a laptop repair. The laptop cost $499 purchased at same store two years prior. Paid $84 fee for them to tell me the total to fix a cracked touchscreen would be over $500. Declined and requested my laptop returned. Still waiting- they've had laptop 22 days to date. I called, they lied and said it was at the store, wasted trip and time because it was not. Promised call with update by yesterday. No return call. Today waited on hold asked for connection to store. Transferred. I heard phone pick up and hang up. Worst service ever so far. After the return of my laptop I will not do business there again.
