They’re Selling Used Products as New !

Bestbuy tried to sell me a used Nikon ZR as New.
It took them 30min to bring me the product, that I found suspicious.
When the box finally arrived at the cashier, it seems it was a lot of finger print on the box, also box was pretty dirty.
While at the cashier, I told them 1min, and I proceeded to open the Nikon ZR box.
thing inside seem pretty disorganized, not how it supposed to be in a new product.
As I took the camera out of the plastic bag, I could see finger prints all over the camera, as both manager & cashier was assisting the scene, they rushed to tell me “ that’s how they comes “.
I answered : this is a used product & someone used it before, and I asked them to explain them finger print on the camera.
They declined to comment, & I told them I want a refund immediately.
They tried to charge me the “ 15% restocking fee “ because they claimed I opened the box,
& I argued the camera is used & box was already opened.
Later I realized when I purchased the camera I took the “ My Best Buy Plus Yearly Membership “
For $49.99, & after they refunded me my money they didn’t cancel that membership & refund me that amount.
It’s clear this was done maliciously and if I had left the stores with the product without checking it, this would have been a completely different story & outcome.
I had never encountered this level of dishonesty before, you can find the serial number of the camera in them pictures attached, please do not leave the store without checking what you bought.

The automated AI answering system at Best Buy is extremely frustrating and ineffective. It repeatedly fails to understand simple requests, provides no helpful assistance, and wastes an unnecessary amount of time trying to navigate basic issues. It creates a poor customer experience and makes it very difficult to reach an actual representative when real support is needed
