I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Best Buy today. This morning, I called regarding a Ring outdoor camera purchase because I noticed on my receipt that I was charged taxes twice, even though both items were purchased on the same day. I have purchased Ring cameras from Best Buy before and have never experienced this issue. When I called, I spoke with a representative named Hugo. Instead of addressing my concern, he repeatedly accused me of screaming at him, which I was not doing. I remained focused on trying to understand the charges on my receipt. I also asked multiple times to speak with a supervisor or manager, but my requests were ignored. Eventually, Hugo hung up on me. I find this behavior extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and to have my concerns addressed appropriately. Hanging up on a customer who is requesting assistance and asking to speak with a supervisor is unacceptable. I would appreciate having this matter reviewed and being contacted by a manager regarding both the tax charge issue and the poor customer service I experienced.

If you’re a thief that likes to steal card numbers to make purchases, then this location is for you. I received a voicemail from a supervisor named Matthew saying that he was looking for me but did not bother to leave any additional information. I called the number that was on my caller ID to get in contact with him only to get redirected to a person named Gasper who was of no help at all! I noticed that there was a purchase made at Best Buy for $200 AirPods that I never authorized on my bank statement. It turned out someone made an online purchase with my card and picked it up at the Union location without having their ID checked. A little tip for the store: Please verify the person’s ID before you let them walk away with an online purchase! It is a headache to contact the bank to dispute unauthorized purchases!
