I purchased a GE-700 sq. Ft. 14000 BTU Window Air Conditioner -white $451.23. The employee Jared C, stated after we did the purchase that we could hire an employee from the store to install the AC unit in our kitchen window for $50.00. We responded, by saying we would think about it and call him (Jared) back on 08-04-2026 if we decided to do so. Well today on 08-04-2026 I called Best Buy and spoke with a woman who stated it would cost me $150.00 to install the AC unit.!!!!! What happened to the $50.00 installation charge the employee informed me about???? I don’t understand why I’m getting quoted 2-different prices.
