Recent cash purchase of $1k Apple Gift cards that were faulty. Store refused to exchange and Apple provided no help. Will never shop there again-I'm out $600

The Best Buy located in Santa Fe provides the strongest argument that it is easier to purchase electronics online. We stopped in the store just after 10:00 am with the purpose of purchasing a 75" TV. After waiting around for 15 minutes I wandered around and found a clerk. After showing him a screen shot of what we were interested in, he stared at me dumbfounded and said, "Is it in stock?" I told him I didn't know and that was why we needed help. He looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. He then said to stand by the TV's. I told him we were. He said he would find someone to help us. We then wait for another 10 minutes. Finally, I went to the person at the front door and told him we were waiting and waiting. He snarked at me and said, "Well, we only have 3 employees." We waited some more. Finally, another employee came to help. We told him we wanted this certain model, but asked about delivery. He would have to look. I was hoping a couple of days at the worst. Once we got to his kiosk, he asked for my phone number, which I gave him. Then he told me the total cost. In other words he was ringing up the sale before he told me about the delivery. When I asked again about the delivery time, he was belligerent and said it would take two weeks. He then repeated the store's manta : We only have 3 employees. We walked out because I knew if I ordered online I would get it sooner. We ended up leaving. I placed the order online and will be receiving it in a reasonable time frame. We spent close to an hour and ended up beyond frustrated and angry. The bottom line is if you have a store, it should be filled with employees, if not, it should be closed. We were excited and looking forward to this purchase, but in the end I ordered the same thing online at the same price and will receive it much quicker than two weeks. For all those considering Best Buy for a high-end item, go online. It will save you a lot of time and aggravation. This has to be the worst store in Santa Fe.

I was on a mission to knock out my Xmas shopping at Best Buy. I had a handful of gift ideas in mind so when I entered the store there was a woman with red hair standing in front of a computer. When I asked her where a specific product might be, she rudely said "Ma'am I'm writing a report..." as if I had walked into her office. I told her forget it and browsed the store myself. Not once was I asked if I needed help by any of the other associates but I was followed around by asset protection (yes, I can tell). When I found my product, there were still other products I was looking for but still, no help. THANKFULLY Carolyn or Caroline approached me, answered all my questions and was more than happy to assist me. She knew the store and helped me find several more products that I was looking for. She helped me navigate the membership process and took the time to give genuine customer service. 5 stars for her and ONLY her! Get it together Best Buy Santa Fe.
