How do I check product availability at the Amherst Best Buy?
BestBuy.com will have the latest product availability information. Check back frequently, as product availability may change. Statuses such as Sold Out or Check Stores may update throughout the season. Products displayed as Sold Out, In Store Only, or Check Stores cannot be ordered by phone. Call Center agents are not able to provide guidance on inventory levels.
How do I check my order status?
Visit the Order Status page and enter the order number (from your order confirmation email), plus the last name and phone number you used to place the order. If you have an account, you can also access your orders from your Account overview after you sign in.
My local Amherst Best Buy store and BestBuy.com ran out of the item I want. Is there another way to get it?

It depends on which staff member you speak with they were great while we did our computer but when it came to home security the guy didn't seem to know much about it

Locate local best buy , dial local number and the AI comes on . I ask for customer service and long story short after 10 minutes of asking for CS and hitting zero multiple times the AI hung up on me! Now frustrated call again ask for electronics finally get through and then placed on hold for 20 minutes to have a human come on . I ask if shes the local beat buy and shes NOT ! Now im mad and tell her that the process took forever and instead of driving over to best buy to see if that location had the part I called ( thinking that would of been easier ) her response- well we need to set up an account and then I can tell you if that location has it .....NO I dont need an account created I need you to do your part and see if that location has the part. The total time on this phone call is now around 40 minutes - just to find out if they have one friggin adapter. I would of driven over and been back to work in less time . WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY. LAST PLACE I WILL EVER SHOP AT . ALL THAT FOR A LOUSY ADAPTER ?!?!? IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE 10 STARS I WOULD !

They replaced their customer service call centers with ai chat bots. The chat bot does not allow you to speak to a human and it hung up on me.
