The best customer service
My friends and I stopped by to see if they had the Skullcandy 1080s in stock. They didn’t, so we decided to walk around the store. Employees kept following us and repeatedly asking if we needed help, which made us feel more watched than welcomed.
We found a Sony speaker without a demo station, so we turned it on and connected one of our phones. Before we played anything, a group of employees gathered nearby, so we decided not to use it and walked away to look at the TVs. There were no signs saying we couldn’t connect to the speaker.
A manager then turned the speaker off, which wasn’t an issue. The problem started when he appeared to call security and then approached us aggressively, asking my friend, “Are you buying that? Because I can ring you up right now,” while he was holding a ceiling speaker. I calmly explained that we never played anything and that there were no signs saying we couldn’t connect to the speaker, but he doubled down and kicked us out. The entire experience felt unfair and unwelcoming.
The Automated messaging when calling in is a complete disaster.
