We purchased an LG smart tv through the open box discount offer program. We thoroughly understand these are used TV’s.
I don’t mind scratches or a factory reset. But we got it home (after paying for a cab) opened the box and found it came WITHOUT ANY WIRES OT REMOTE. There are no manual buttons on these TV’s. You need the remote.
The lack of a remote or wires isn’t mentioned anywhere on the box nor did a sales representative mention it when we picked it up.
I called, asked for an at home pick up since I didn’t want to be out the money for another cab ride. I was told that might be doable , put on hold so the representative could speak to a manager, after 30 minutes the call disconnected and now I can’t reach anyone.
Update: I spoke to another person named Jeffrey on the general line, who offered to transfer me to the store and the call was once again disconnected.
Ridiculous. No one would be able to use the tv as sold. It’s basically a defective product.
