I want to shout out Ryan, he helped me buy a m4 pro macbook pro. he was great to work with and convinced me to sign up to try to take advantage of 24 months financing.
In recent years, this store has gone downhill. Beyond any issues with the company as a whole doing away with physical media (which was a large reason I shopped there) I think the primary issue is with the staffing.
I have a negative experience with a staff member every single time I stop there. The overarching theme is a total lack of professionalism. Employees standing around in groups (the other day there were 9 associates in a group at the front of the store the entire time I was there). The last 3 times I visited there were no employees in the PC/Gaming section to ask a question, but there were 3-4 behind the desk by the TVs swearing loudly and talking about personal topics.
On multiple occasions the employees at check out would say things like “My Switch 2 broke right out of the box” when I was purchasing a Switch 2. This was not a professional recommendation, or a well-documented issue with the console, but it made me feel worse about the thing I was buying.
I worked retail for 15 years, and I understand that it’s a brutal gig, but the management at this store is really creating a terrible environment to shop in, and it doesn’t have to be this way. I like seeing employees engaging with one another and laughing, but not cursing loudly and making fun of other customers.
The staff is either not recruited, trained, or coached well, or a combination of all those things. This speaks to a lack in competency from the store’s management. As much as I hate Amazon, it’s led me to purchase from them because my only local alternative is so darn unpleasant.

Beautiful, well laid out store, and shockingly, help is available when you need it. Nice staff!
