I've had a Best Buy credit card for a long time. Have always been in good standing. In September 2025 there was an issue with my financial institution, causing 2 payments to be returned. Following that, I immediately brought my Best Buy account up to date utilizing a different payment account. Since then I have made 4 good payments and I am in good standing. I was just notified that my account was closed due to 2 returned payments in the last 6 months. I called to explain to them what I just wrote here, but my account will stay closed. I have to reapply for a new account. HA HA HA HA HA. FAT CHANCE. What they don't seem to realize is that electronics can be purchased just about anywhere nowadays, and they are hardly the only game in town. Their foot traffic has been sorely lacking. They should be bending over backwards to keep the small clientele that they have. Nope. Another one bites the dust. Funny thing. There's a BJ's right next door. I'll be getting my mother's new TV birthday present there, and NOT at Best Buy like I was going to. Worst Buy. Terrible customer service.

They need to be out of business. I don't know why anyone would shop there, when you have better choices. Went to buy my niece a Nintendo and wanted the one just like on display. Got to the register and the price was $240.00. I said the sign says $199.00. Get the manager. Raj, the manager could not have been any more rude, and tried to tell me $199.00 was for the yellow one only. Then why is the green on display showing $199.00? Deceptive practices to say the least. Raj will not help you and couldn't care any more less about customer service. The sign on display does not say "yellow only". Of which they didn't even have in stock.BEWARE. I will never go back to BEST BUY
