This place needs shut down. A bunch of scammers. This is the closest Best Buy to me, and it's a 45 minute drive. I'm searching for a new TV, find a bunch of their open box TVs, walk up to one of the workers who is behind the counter on his cell phone and ask him if he's helping anybody. Without saying a word, and without breaking eye contact with his cell phone, he shakes his head yes. Another customer says " wow... Maybe this guy will help you after he's done with me." that employee says he can't because he's going to help someone else and radios for someone to come help me. 25 minutes later the same guy that radioed for help finally decides to help me. He sold me an open box TV that was labeled excellent condition. I get at home and it's only the TV. There's no remote control, there's no feet to set it up on, and there's no power cable. I am freaking livid. Avoid this garbage place.
After multiple visits and messages Best Buy is finally replacing my computer... Fingers crossed that new machine doesn't have the same issues.
6 month old computer bought at Best Buy had a problem - under warranty and member of Geek Squad. Brought in - someone worked on for 10 minutes and said all was good. Brought CPU home and an hour later - same problem -- brought back - this time Geek Squad kept CPU to send out for repair - had for almost 3 weeks -- when returned it did not work properly. Brought back to Geek Squad - they told me this time it was a Microsoft issue and that I had to call Microsoft directly - they couldn't fix. When I called Microsoft they only give a website to use and I couldn't talk to anyone --I do not know enough to do myself -- brought back to Geek Squad - they refused to handle. Brought to a private repair company and the tech said there was a major problem and he had to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft - finally working now. Since I bought Microsoft program from Best Buy when I bought the new computer Best Buy should have handled the repair (Microsoft was working fine before they did the initial repair - so they must have done something to cause the problem). The techs at the Mohegan store lacked interest which really annoyed me.
