(This review is only in regards to the geek squad, did not deal with any other departments during this. All other purchasing experiences with BB have been great.)
TLDR: Don’t use Geek Squad for Apple products. Go directly to an Apple Store.
What happened: Brought in an iPhone for a battery replacement covered by AppleCare. Was first told by check in agent it would be a $100 deductible. Luckily, I had the service confirmation that showed battery service was completely covered. He had to call Apple and figure it out, but we got that taken care of. Left my phone with them for the service (told would take 2 hours, about what is expected for type of service) and 30 minutes later received a call that the repair agent broke part of my device internally during battery replacement. Offered to replace phone, told it would be 2-5 days for new phone to arrive. Took 9 days for new phone to come in. Was told I would not be able to keep my phone (the one they broke) during that 9 day period. Once new phone arrived, during the transfer process, they were unable to complete the cellular transfer portion and sent me to my carrier store. Carrier employees solved problem (a VPN was blocking the WiFi, something geek squad should have very well known. Just got lucky that the Spectrum employees had experience with Apple devices.) Dealt with 5 different employees throughout the whole process, none seemed to know how to problem solve. A giant headache and inconvenience for a simple battery service. Poor customer service, widespread incompetence among employees, and general inefficiency at every encounter with New Hartford Geek Squad during this experience.

Very helpful and considerate.
I had all my questions answered and it was a quick in and out with my online purchase. I'm happy with the staff that I had to encounter to get my questions answered. I would recommend the store to someone if they needed any type of electronics.
Today was my wife's birthday. And it was the day we were to have a new Bosch electric cooktop delivered.
The time frame for delivery and install started at 7am to 7pm.
So we were up earlier than normal to be ready.
7 went on buy
At 11 I called and an updated delivery now was 12 noon to 3.
Another call updated delivery was 3 to 5.
Another call now 5 to 7.
A final call at which time I was told the delivery was not to happen.
Happy birthday to my wife.
We did have plans all of which got put on the shelf awaiting delivery.
I canceled the purchase and
I assure you there will never be a dime of ours spent at a not so Best Buy.
