I went here to get my laptop looked at by the Genius Bar/Geek Squad employees. The employee was very helpful and informative. I then went to look at new Apple laptops as I was considering purchasing one. The employee there spent his time asking me questions about why I was purchasing the laptop and what I was using it for when I already knew what I wanted. It was probably a 20 minute conversation when I could have purchased it online in 30 seconds. He also spent about 10 minutes telling me the benefits of the credit card without even asking whether I was interested in signing up until the end. I advise that your employees script is rewritten in order to not waste the customer’s time. I also declined to get AppleCare+ and he responded in a way where I felt pressured to get it (as in he disapproved of my choice) which I don’t believe any customer should feel. I did not end up purchasing a laptop at Best Buy this day and I believe that my interaction may have been part of this choice.
