Important to know before you make the mistake of buying appliances like I did (dishwasher). You pay with installation covered (at least you think) and it’s all supposed to be done in 2 days. Well guess what, a month later I am returning the appliance. Aside from changing the delivery date 50 times and being impossible to reach they use this company CRST in Nj. Please take a look at the reviews it’s speaks for itself. So the scam essentially is Best Buy tells you free installation and then the guy comes and finds any excuse (here a supposedly defectuous water valve which works perfectly)… then you have to pay $300 (CASH ONLY) for them to do the job. Best Buy only want to use them (surprising isn’t it!?).
Obviously Best Buy is a BBB business and CRST are not. so given I have evidences of all of it I have decided to report then to BBB and the FTC. Also the the « legal » record of the person who came (found his name and court record) is more than dubious. Maybe ICE should take a look. Have a nice day now.

I came in to buy an external hard drive today, and the store associate tricked me into signing up for a Best Buy credit card. She told me I was signing up for the rewards program, and when I asked why they needed my social security number, she said it was just for security purposes. I caught wind of it halfway through, and she continued to insist I was just signing up for rewards. I told her I didn’t want to move forward, and she told me to sign and then she’d cancel it. An hour later, I got an email from Citi Bank saying I had successfully applied. I had to call them and wait on hold to cancel it. I’m so angry, I can’t even express it. You don’t mess with people’s credit like that! This is why people don’t shop in these stores anymore. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy over the years, but I will never buy anything from this company again. Stay far far away from this location!
