I trust their geek squad 100%
WORST BUY. Buyer beware from this and probably all Best Buy’s because I’m sure the horrible policies is the same all over. Purchased 55 inch outdoor color TV on July 3 ,watched once, a bird flies into it,cracked screen and Best Buy doesn’t want to do good by with a two year warranty when it should basically be 14 days because when you walk out the door after 14 days, you can take that two year warranty and shove it up you nowhere because they find some other way of getting out of it. I guess I should have to be a traffic cop to control the birds out in the backyard. I guess they never took that in consideration that birds are outside .They jerk you around from geek squad to South Setauket into the corporate office and you get nowhere with them. They just keep passing you around. And give you some type of hope with bullshit false emails that they keep sending to you saying that my refund is pending . When clearly that’s not true .When I finally feel there’s no way of getting anywhere with them. You can expect that TV getting delivered right back to you that I can promise. You can bet on that.

Ordered a Geek Squad Verified TV. How does it come? Missing stuff. So we are already disappointed with BestBuy bc we now know Geek Squad Verified items are meaningless. Front door person tells us to take to the TV department bc maybe they can make it right with a swap for a new for our inconvenience. But then Mr. Blond comes along and make us feel like we are trying to pull something, making us go back to the front counter and proceeds to do absolutely nothing to make it right. In fact: he makes it worse. “I have to plug in the TV to see if it works”, he drones. “We don’t know if it works bc we already know this wasn’t Geek Squad certified properly bc items were missing. Once it was missing items, we wanted no part of this item. I put it right back in the box. I don’t believe your certification system”. He managed to make us feel like we were the problem instead of crappy BestBuy. Made zero effort to solve or assuage us as disappointed customers… when BestBuy was IN THE WRONG. And totally lost our business. I buy thousands of dollars of items with BestBuy for work and home. Not anymore. Unacceptable situation and unacceptable result. We won’t be buying from BestBuy again. Bad attitude. Bad customer service. Bad business.
