After a phone session and an in person visit to the Boardman store geek squad we where told that my sons new $2400.00 college laptop was going to need to be sent to tech support. Or we would need to buy an external camera to get through the school season and worry about running out of warranty if we did not continue our extended warranty. After a call into dell the discovered all we needed was a simple update the camera is now working. How did Best Buy miss this or was this another money grab?
This place has changed alot over the years. It is super nice and the staff is so friendly.
Best buy totally over charges for extended warranty on their products.

Try to return a item after they ship the wrong one and the manager treated me like I was some type of scam artist. I have bought a laptop from them and a Galaxy watch 6 and they sent a chipped up wrong colored one. But it's okay I will never buy anything from them again especially after customer service told me I will be able to exchange it in store and then I drive 30 minutes to Best buy and the manager tells me it's up to his discretion because it's a lot of fraud going on. I never been so insulted in my life lost the customer for life as I clearly stated I talked to customer service not once not twice but three times I've called every person I could call nothing was resolved. I gave them my name, information and number to call me back. The only time I heard a response was when you just responded to this post but at the same time I appreciate you responding and I will use that number you gave me to see if I can get this resolved because as of now I feel like I paid $140 for something that I didn't want and I'm highly upset. I'm no scam artist!!! And if we get this resolved then I'll happily change my review. Right is right though and wrong is wrong. I am so tired of spending my hard earned money that I don't make enough of to get treated poorly when I walk in these places and buy these expensive things let's see if you could get something solved on your end. I ordered a cream refurbished Galaxy watch 6. They sent me a black one that was damaged. No styrofoam, no packaging nothing. It seemed like somebody swapped it out and gave me the one they wanted to, but I assure you that it wasn't me
