I bought an open box phone and asked the man checking it out of I can see the condition before purchasing. He said no you may run out of store with it. Like what! I was so disrespected I left and then came back. I bought it went home and phone has huge gouge in the side. I am returning it.

Good afternoon,
Thanks for sharing this with us. We can understand wanting to check the condition of the open-box item that you were about to purchase. Finding out after getting it home that there was a significant mark like that, would certainly be unwelcome.
While it is not a practice for our employees to open items before they are purchased, it shouldn't be implied that this is due to you possibly trying to do something wrong with it. We'd like to ensure this is looked into further with you. Feel free to send a private message on one of our social media platforms, Facebook (https://bby.me/4BQAVX), Twitter/X (https://bby.me/1dCe7K), or Instagram (https://bby.me/unO3TI), and include a reference to your "Google review #201875".

Ahmed was the best. Great customer service
I called ahead to see if they had what I needed. The phone rep was nice and informative. I went to pick up what I needed. The door representative was not there at almost 6pm. I didn't know where to look. Very few floor sales staff. I caught one of the warehouse techs. He was very helpful. He found what I needed in back. Unfortunately he brought up a different product than I needed but swiftly retrieved the correct one. Samsung T9 1T external hard drives. I went to pay. The cashier was very friendly and efficient. I honestly hadn't been to Best Buy for a while. I am used to the crowds that shopped there. It is like a ghost town now. Being a local business, I like to buy local as much as possible even tho it's a franchise. Long story short. They had what I needed, service was great and that's what I was hoping for. Mission accomplished!
