Absolute incompetence is maxed out in this place. They sell me open box washer/dryer to be delivered a week later and on the day of delivery they claim to be faulty units (both of them). I get a call claiming that since it is open box I have to go in store to take care of it. I go there and then a store associate tells me I have to call this number, whatever it is, to take care of it. Knowing how this goes I call it right infront of him and it is a not a working phone number. Then he tells me he doesn’t want to go through with the cancellation as it will cause a lot of headache so he tells me to call back the number I received a call originally to cancel order and then he will sell me another unit here in store. We go look at the units and select one and I ask for a discount for having them wasting my time and we agree to price, more exp unit and I accept covering the difference with partial discount and some out of pocket. We go back and as he rings me up something comes up and he goes and gets his manager. As this is happening I call back the number I received the call earlier in the day while in store and the operator tells me I have to take care of this in store again! Then the manager comes in and tells me he will take care of it. First completely ignores the fact that we were about to close a transaction and I was pulling out my credit card for the new washer/drier unit and then when questioned he dismisses it. After click clacking for 20 mins on his computer doing a round of CS or whatever he is doing he tells me he assures me that I will get a replacement/discount on another unit and that someone from their corporate appliance team will reach out to me as he can’t do it in store… wasting over an hour of my time in store I leave. I get a call from corporate later that evening telling me they don’t do anything like what the manager claimed in store and all they can do is refund… honestly I never met this incompetent and liar of a staff both the associate and “manager”. Straight went to a membership based retail store with supposedly decent rotisserie chicken to purchase a brand new set and I guarantee they don’t hire clowns like these over there. Never going to this bestbuy ever again…
