The Worst Customer Service Experience of My Life
I drove over four hours from Detroit to the Best Buy in Findlay, Ohio after purchasing an open-box 75-inch TV online. What should have been a simple pickup turned into a nightmare.
First, there was an issue verifying my payment. Then an issue with the pick ticket. Then another issue actually getting the TV. After wasting hours waiting around while employees fumbled, I was told they couldn’t complete the transaction. Instead of honoring my purchase, they refunded me and told me they were closing for the night—leaving me with no TV, no solution, and over $100 wasted in gas.
I spent four hours driving and another two hours dealing with their incompetence, only to walk away empty-handed. The employees were dismissive, unhelpful, and clearly more concerned about going home than helping a paying customer. When I tried calling the 1-800 customer service number for help, I was met with the same careless, rude attitude.
This is hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I wasted an entire day, my money, and my patience because Best Buy clearly does not care about its customers. I will never shop here again—and I strongly suggest anyone considering it to think twice.
