BEWARE, BEWARE. BEWARE. Military and Seniors especially.
I have been a raving fan of Best Buy and the Geek Squad for most of my adult life. I have served in the Air Force all over the nation for 20 plus years, and Best Buy has always been my first choice until now.
I needed a very simple job, two rear speakers (that plug into the wall) and a new receiver.
Best Buys Sales Representative Blake Repp tried to overcharge me a lot of money. He was late to our first appointment at my home. He did not ever follow up with me, I had to chase him down. He upsold my speakers by 300 percent, the receiver by 30 plus percent and tried to charge me $1,400 for installation from an installer from Columbus.
When I questioned the excessive $1,400 cost for installation from a team from Columbus, he agreed after a conversations with his manager only to charge me $1,100, the final cost for local installation was $300.
As a disabled military member I shutter at how many people Best Buys Sales force has taken advantage of. He is a transactional thinker working for his next commission. He should be relational selling with creating a life long clients for Best Buy.
If I owned this local Best Buy I would fire him tomorrow. Shame on you; those that provide your freedom deserve better.
I would not recommend any home sale experiences with this current Sales staff.

I went to buy a dji mic and ended up on the phone with customer service for 1 hour since they didn't have it in stock and the worker that placed the order put the wrong address. I mentioned the urgency on the matter since I am traveling soon and now, I don´t have the product I need. I have to wait 15 days for a refund. Thanks to a worker that placed my shopping address wrong. This is the worst shopping experience I´ve ever had.

I went to purchase a monitor for .y game systems. I wasn't greeted by employees. Went to the monitor section and stood there for 10 minutes before someone came to help and than he said i will get someone who knows more . Stood there for 2 minutes a guy saw my waved me off and walked away to the front. Another was stocking when i walked back still didn't help me and another was checking someone out kept he way too busy . Finally the person who was stocking help and didn't seem to know where the item was . I didn't ask questions took the monto the front to check out other customers were complaining of the wait time and no helped them . I got home and didn't like the monitor the monitor screw didn't screw into the stand and i was afraid to monitor and it didn't have speaker or outlet. Went back to the store and i couldn't find the receipt. I told the cashier twice i was already here earlier. So happy i had a digital receipt. Kept saying i didn't purchase this here. Manager helped . I will not be back. I will drive to another best buy or somewhere else where they actually care to help.
