I don’t normally have a bad experience at this location, but this morning I stopped in with my 8yo son as we do every Saturday when they restock to get Pokémon cards. There were 2 boxes of the First Partner Collection sitting behind the customer service counter. I asked to buy them and was told, “those are spoken for.” I asked how they were spoken for and the woman stared at me and repeated that they were spoken for and seemed irritated with my question. It seemed extremely shady as I was offered no explanation as to why they were “spoken for.” Then, I asked about an ETB that was sitting behind the shelf and was told it wasn’t ringing up correctly. It was the only ETB left which makes me believe that was “spoken for” as well. I know large retailers don’t get single ETBs to sell as they come in cases with multiple ETBs, so they had to have sold all the other ETBs before getting down to that last one. Anyone who knows about buying cards here knows there’s a line of people waiting outside the store every Saturday morning for their restocks. I’m wondering how I can avoid waiting in the line and just reserve product for myself in the future. I don’t like speculating, but I can only imagine those items were “spoken for” by someone who has inside communication with an employee there. I would suggest taking those “spoken for” products off the shelf so other kids don’t get excited at the sight of them to only be told they’re “spoken for” buy someone who is more than likely just going to resell them. I debated writing this review cause I haven’t had issues before, but everything about this experience told me something shady was going on. I will try again next Saturday and really hope this don’t a trend for this location.

We went to the Mentor store just to get ideas on Kitchenaid appliances and left with a whole new kitchen!!! Tim Burt and Robert Guerrieri were very helpful and patirnt with us while we asked a lot of questions, needless to say we really were happy with the level of customer service thaty they gave us. I would reccommend this store and the sales team to everyone!
The mentor best buy is far the best!!! The employees and managers make this place. Far better than mayfield where they don't care about customers. This is the only one I will go to
Way, way better in Mentor than Mayfield Hts, they actually helped!
