Best Buy Quail Springs

If you have been living under a rock and are not already familiar with Best Buy, it is a retail location for electronics, (cellular phones, cameras, home and car audio, computers, televisions, etc. ) and home appliances. In my experience, this particular Best Buy does stand out as well stocked and having a overly competent staff with great customer service.

Customer service staffs are very helpful and they try their best to help customers. Thank you! If you have to be served by a manager on the off chance, here’s my experience. I bought two HP monitors back in 2023 and two Geek Squad insurance plans on them. I had also returned them to size up later. The first monitor cracked in 2025 and customer service helped me get store credit or full replacement. I was delighted, felt good about my geek squad purchase. The second monitor failed recently. However, this time, I was served by Manager Tin. Even though he knew I had one active plan left, he still denied the service. Somehow the system doesn’t connect my return for screen size up with the device on the plan. Tin makes decisions purely from historical data available in the system which is reasonable. He seemed a bit too serious for a customer-facing interaction, and didn’t try to understand my case and what I was asking. If replacement is not possible, at least I wanted to know if I could get the money back for the active insurance plan. Tin said I had to pay about $125 for the monitor! I don’t want to get the monitor anymore. I stayed behind to talk to another manager, I think his name’s Abraham. He looked into my case and at least reimbursed the leftover amount on the active Geek Squad plan that I had paid for but wasn’t able to use. It was only about $10 but I think I would have had better luck if I hadn’t been served by Tin the first time. Giving 4 stars still, my experience with the rest of the staff has been great!
