Very poor selection of in stock items. If we wanted to order for delivery, we could have used Amazon for better pricing and faster delivery

I recently purchased a new computer at Best Buy, Quail Springs store. The old computer being replaced was taken in so data could be transferred. When I went to pick up the new computer, it was all wrapped up and back in its original box. I did not ask to look at the new computer and the salesperson did not offer, which was my mistake.
When I got home and started the setup, the LCD screen was badly damaged, and the computer is not functional. I took it back to the store immediately. The salespeople said there was nothing wrong with the computer while in their possession, and I caused the damage, and they would do nothing for me.
By their own admission, the damage to the computer had to have been caused by a strong blow to the screen, which did not happen the short while I had it. They told me it happened when I carefully laid the computer, screen down, while still wrapped up, on my flat surface desk. There was no strong blow! While I am fully aware that there is a risk in placing an LCD face down, it is safe if done carefully. In the documentation provided by HP with the computer, there are absolutely no warnings about placing it face down. And I challenge any reasonable person to assemble the desktop without doing so – the bracket for the computer stand is on the back.
I have always bought my computers from Best Buy and have been satisfied with the product and service. I have not dealt with the QS store before and will not in the future.
Please beware and buy nothing from them that is boxed unless you inspect it in their presence before you leave the store. Ask lots of questions. I was not given any set up instructions with this computer.

Made an online order to pickup in the store. I waited for a while to be greeted and received multiple items. When I got home I realized that one of the smaller items was not mine.
When I returned to the store an employee fumbled around the computer, got help from a manager who did not recognize I was even there, and honestly the rest is not worth posting.
I’ll just buy from Amazon next time.
