I made the mistake of going to see the Geek Squad for my broken phone, but it’s less geek and more loser. After being told I need a replacement phone, and best buy charged my card for a full replacement, they ghosted. I called the number listed for days and it connects to people working from home who have nothing to do with the location and are unable to help. The first time I called I was told my phone was ready for pickup and that I would receive a call from the store that same day, but the phone was in fact not ready and i didn’t receive a call. The next time I called I was told it wasn’t ready but that the store would call me that day. Again, they did not. I called again on the latest day I was told my replacement phone, which they already charged me for, would be available. I was then told the phone would not be shipped for another two and a half weeks due to a delay. When I tried to cancel my order they told me they weren’t able to do that. When I contacted apple support they told me Best Buy put in for a repair not a replacement and Best Buy would not allow apple to cancel the order either. The apple representative I spoke with filed a complaint as well and said best buy misadvised my paid for applecare policy. I ended up scammed by best buy for my $107 and had to go to the Apple store for my replacement. The apple store had my phone replaced in a matter of days, and gave me a loaner in the mean time. Apple store 100%, please don’t waste your time and money here.
