The people that are very friendly unprofessional. They are good workers.
Bought a pre built PC, was told by the sales floor it came with a warranty and could be claimed in store. Major hardware failure the third time we turn it on. Bring it back to the store because the call center told us it was in warranty and could be exchanged. When I get to the store, with an appointment,
Clyde- "you had 15 days to return it unless you paid us for a longer return period or bought in store protection"...
Me - "We were told when we bought it and over the phone when we /made an appointment for the exchange/ we could exchange it here"
Clyde - "uuuh, no clearly you miss heard because you could only do that with best buy plus"
Me- "then why did we make an appointment??"
Clyde - " oh, the call center isn't very good"
...
No recourse on a DOA $1700 computer because we didn't buy the 15 up charges from best buy and Clyde was a condescending jerk.
Called number to talk to store about product availability. Was put on hold and was told I cannot call the store because of high call volume.... pathetic.

I've been to 2 different Best Buy stores today and at both stores, I had to ask numerous times for help. Weird workplace culture considering the nature of the business.
