Make sure you check their slow website for the return policy. It’s ridiculous to give customers 14 days. I did not realize it was only a 14 day window because when you buy online it’s not included on your email receipt. GET THIS you can’t even exchange the item either even if it’s in perfect condition. You’ll be stuck with a product you despise. Instead they want you to buy $180 membership so you can return within a 60 day window… no wonder Best Buy is declining

I’m honestly fed up with Best Buy at this point. The level of training and professionalism has dropped dramatically. I went into the store recently looking for an HDMI to DisplayPort cable and asked an employee named Ethan for help. He confidently told me that the cable he handed me would work for connecting my PlayStation to my monitor. I got home and realized it was completely wrong — it was a DisplayPort to HDMI cable, which doesn’t work for what I needed. That kind of mistake just shows there’s no real product knowledge or care being taken. What made the experience worse was how uncomfortable it felt walking in. I’m a Black man, and another Black employee was hovering over me the entire time like I was doing something suspicious. That kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unnecessary. It’s sad when you can’t even feel respected or at ease by people who should understand where you’re coming from. Best Buy used to be a store you could trust for tech help and genuine customer service. Now it feels like a place filled with employees who either don’t know what they’re doing or treat customers with suspicion. I’ll be shopping online from now on, because every in-store visit seems to end the same way — frustrated and disappointed.
