I arrived this morning right when they opened because the newest AirPods I got from Best Buy weren’t working. Joseph at customer service said that I needed to make an appointment for Apple products and the next available one was this afternoon for them to see if they could repair the AirPods. I told him that I had other errands to run so I would just drop them off now and come back to pick them up once they were repaired or figured out if they couldn’t be repaired. He said I would have to come back this afternoon to sign the paperwork before they could look at them. I told him I should be able to sign the paperwork now while I’m already there. He went to check with the guy working at geek squad and told me that guy isn’t trained to work on Apple products so I’d have to come back this afternoon when someone was there who could and that is their policy. Either these two employees are incompetent or BestBuy has an asinine policy because it is not respectful of the time of their customers. I have dropped off other items at geek squad to be repaired before and Apple products should be no different. And you wonder why your business is declining
