I was recently in to buy some hard drives for my business. Cole, the associate was immediately helpful. She came to the case with the key, was patient as I looked at my options, and offered some insight on the deals. At check out, Cole informed me that my membership needed an update, and took care of it right away.

Walked into Best Buy ready to spend money on a soundbar. Walked out realizing JB had absolutely no interest in helping anyone do that. He wouldn’t put his phone down, wouldn’t move from the exact spot he was standing in, didn’t ask a single question about our needs, and never once offered to show us any options. The effort level was so low it was almost impressive. If this is the standard for customer service, I’m surprised anyone gets helped at all. We’ll happily be taking our business somewhere employees actually engage with customers.
