I called the Janzen Beach for information regarding a receiver. The clerk was somewhat helpful. I thank him and indicated I would drive over to check out my options. Shortly thereafter I received an email stating my order was ready to be picked up. I never ordered anything. It took considerable time and effort to cancel an order I never purchased. Nice business practices.

I bought a Samsung fridge here and bought the extended 5 year warranty. My fridge broke down right before Christmas. We’re talking the fridge and the freezer are warmer than my house. I called Best Buy and they sent the geek squad out. The first person who was supposed to come out canceled and I had to wait another week for the next guy. The next people who came said the problem was with the coolant and they were not qualified to fix it but would send someone else out. The next guy who came out a week later said it was the computer so he came back a week later with the part and replaced that. That did not fix the problem. He said it was probably the coolant system and only Samsung could fix it. I called Samsung but since my warranty was through Best Buy they wouldn’t cover the cost. I then called Best Buy again and it’s all automated until you get to a person who probably doesn’t live anywhere near you or care about you at all. After I told them all this that had happened they decided to send the geek squad out again in another 2 weeks. I haven’t had a working refrigerator or freezer for 2 months and feel like I have gotten nowhere. This is SO frustrating!!! So if you get the warranty on their stuff just hope it’s a small problem that they can fix or you might not have a fridge for a LONG time.
