Terrible customer service and rude manager—I will not be purchasing from Best Buy going forward. I had purchased headphones in late January and found out a couple months later that they were defective when flying across the country (the battery only lasted 2 hours but was advertised as 8 minimum). When I called customer service they assured me that if I took time out of my day to go into the store and speak with a manager, they would resolve this issue for me even though it was past the 15 day return period (also, 15 days? What a joke). Long story short they would not honor any return or exchange and said the only thing I could do was PAY $50 to sign up for their protection plan to get a PORTION of a refund. As a native Minnesotan I have supported Best Buy for decades and even just recently purchased a $2000 washer/dryer in December and they literally did nothing to resolve this issue. They have now lost a customer for good.
