Ordered an open box item online and showed up to the store, I was then informed my item couldn't be found. After half an hour they located my item which was listed in excellent condition but after getting home I found it to be missing all hardware and instruction manuals. This has been my only time shopping here but it was disorganized and caused me nothing but issues.

Have spent a lot of money at Best Buy and until this year have been very pleased. They appear to have changed their business model in such a way that the employees can not stand behind their commitments. I ordered a stove, microwave, and freezer just before Thanksgiving. I was given a December 9 delivery date. The week before I received 2 e-mails asking me to prepare the house for delivery. The Sunday before the scheduled delivery I got 4 texts telling me I had to schedule the delivery. Went to the website and it indicated my earliest delivery would be Feb.7. I was concerned so I called customer care. They said the stove was not available until Jan. 7 but could not answer why the other two items would not be delivered as promised. When pressed I was hung up on. I called again and again, had to start from the beginning. Again they could not answer my questions and recommended a Dec. 20 date to receive the other two Items. Again I pressed as I had bought some food I had planned to put in the freezer. Again, was hung up on. Both calls were answered by people whose English was not their first language and were hard to understand and could not pronounce certain words. I got a call the next day from the customer service center and they could not improve on anything. I went to the store to talk with the manager. He did what he said he could and improved the delivery of the freezer we hope. Will find out tomorrow. He was patient and explained why the employees can not see availability. I think this is a black eye for Best Buy… the manager also said his hands were tied in trying to improve customer service. He denied most of the ideas I suggested on what would make me feel like a valued customer. he also told me the microwave was not available yet. I will rethink buying anything from them in the future.

No more movies, no more music, no more games. Best Buy is going downhill. I used to come here buy almost 100% of my games. They also had a limited selection of vinyl. Now, they have shifted away from that business model. Even Magnolia is not in most stores (Here in Portland). I hope we are not witnessing the next Circuit City.
