They went out of their way to help me.
I visited the Cascade Station Best Buy for an Apple Watch, knowing exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, I had to wait 15 minutes without any acknowledgment from staff, and it was frustrating to see customers who arrived after me being helped first. This experience was disappointing, especially since a quick in-store purchase shouldn’t be such a drawn-out experience.
In comparison, stores like Costco or Target offer much quicker and more attentive service where I feel like my time is valued. With the Best Buy experience, I couldn’t help but notice that the store operates without a clear line or system, which makes it feel like customers are left waiting in hopes someone will eventually see them first to simply grab an item from a locked case.
A simple greeting, quicker acknowledgment, or more staff on hand would have made a big difference. After my experience at Best Buy, I’m left wondering why I should come back when other stores offer a faster, smoother experience, often at similar or better prices.
