A very miserable shopping experience. Half the shelves are empty, so there's really no point in visiting here. God forbid you need to make a return, because the return window is only 15 days, which is unheard of in this day and age. I'm sure this will be yet another closed brick and mortar soon, because each trip here was a waste of my life I'll never get back.

Went into Springfield gateway location to replace my old gaming mat and keyboard wrist pad. Right away found a XL mat that fits my needs but couldn't find any wrist pads. I asked a floor associate named Shannon about them. His response was "No we don't carry those". The answer caught me off guard. So I respond "...huh interesting... thats weird for a store like this to not carry something like that, any idea why?" ( Yes I realize now that was a silly question. Why would a random associate have any clue?) At this point his entire demeanor flipped and he started telling me they never have carried those and that he's been gaming for over ten years and he's never even seen one and those are not a thing... Maybe it's me but when someone says "no we don't carry those" would that not imply they are indeed a thing?? I can't remember the last time I left a bad review, let alone one calling out someone by name at a specific location. I work in customer service myself, and I have pretty much my entire life... Everyone has bad days, retail workers are usually over worked, over stressed and under paid. Everyone needs a bit of grace right? However, this interaction just hit me wrong. I hold no ill will towards Shannon or Best buy (although I still think it's odd not to carry a keyboard wrist pad). I hope nothing negative should come of this review. Just wanted to put it out there.
