Extremely disappointed with the Best Buy in Tualatin. I drove 25 miles out of my way to purchase open-box earphones, only to be sold defective products twice in a row. They clearly do not test open-box items before putting them on the floor.
When I returned 10 days later seeking a fair exchange, the supervisor made a bad situation much worse. He quoted me a replacement price more than double what I paid, claiming he was giving me a "discount"—even though his quoted price was $100 MORE than the price listed on Best Buy's official website at that exact moment.
He insisted he was "trying to help," but gave illogical options and showed zero accountability for selling broken inventory. Wasting my time and gas on defective products is bad enough, but being lied to about pricing by store management is completely unacceptable. Avoid buying open-box inventory at this store.
