I recently encountered inadequate service at this Best Buy , waiting 23 minutes for assistance that never came. Staff acknowledged my request for help but failed to act, instead standing idle. Meanwhile, a white female customer received prompt attention upon arrival. The experience left me with concerns of racial profiling due to the disparity in treatment, compounded by the store's disorganization and unresponsive staff, ensuring I will not return.

Very nice staff, not nessisarily the most highly informed on every product; but thats not expected. If you are looking for something fast or that works this is a good place. If youre unsure where something is, ask. The way they place certain items is odd; I was looking for an elgato steam deck and a capture card and it should be in pc components but was tucked away in the Playstation isle. I understand that a capture card is used for consoles but its for a computer to capture content from a device. My recommendation, start with best buy and see what they have and the price; then in store check general prices online. Dont really trust them with monitors, cameras, and tvs because they usually have a more basic model that is missing features compared to getting one online. Remember, in tech brands matter alot. Some brands are owned by each other or use other components while others put a premium. For example a Samsung monitor or tv will be twice as much as an asus or hlc brand monitor, but they use the same display.
tldr: support a local store(even best buy) over Amazon because you wont get scammed as much, but dont be afraid to compare prices in store with online searches. This best buy could expand their variety of pc and video tech options but its a start. For aaking a store associate for help, ask them what youtube channels they watch for tech, and it'll tell you how knowledgeable they are.
