The best place to take your old electronics for recycling.
I can only review the automotive and installation services at this time. Unfortunately service depends entirely on what technician is on at the time.
I ordered a new car radio. The tech on duty ordered everything and couldn't figure out how to have it sent to the store so he asked if I would be alright with everything going to my address. No Problem. He also said he was having computer issues and said I would need to schedule the installation myself. I thought no problem, but that was a lot more difficult than expected.
Got everything set up finally and took the vehicle for the installation - couldn't do it because one of the parts was incorrect. Rescheduled and waited for the new part.
Took the vehicle in for a second try. Tech said he was having problems again with the computer and he would have to reschedule me for a third try. I asked him to keep trying since it is difficult for me to get there and have someone available to pick me up while the work is being completed. He said he wouldn't have time since he had another installation booked right after me. He commented that he would have the same problem with the second installation.
My first thought was maybe he should contact the next person so they don't waist their time. Second thought was what good is the GEEK SQUAD if they can't even take care of employees computer issues. I returned everything!! Apparently the customers time isn't relevant to Best Buy.
I pay $179.00 a year for their "Best Buy Total" membership. I can't imagine how they treat anyone who isn't a member.
Had to run in when my charger for my work laptop stopped working and needed to be replaced in the middle of the work day. The staff were great and directed me right to the location and another employee came to help me find the right charger immediately. Wonderfully helpful staff!
Went to buy a TV, ask for assistance after a 20 minute wait, still no help. Left in frustration. They have a membership, not inexpensive. Geek squad help and extends warranty on purchases. Scranton needs a PC Richards and a Costcio
