George was the best salesman ever
The girl at the door was helpful pointing me in the right direction. However, they didn't have what I needed.
This experience was completely unacceptable and feels like clear misleading advertising by Best Buy. I purchased an open-box laptop listed as “excellent condition,” which according to Best Buy’s own description means no missing parts. Yet after driving all the way from Delaware to pick it up, I discovered the charger was missing.
The store manager’s response made the situation even worse. He was rude, dismissive, and handed me a Lenovo charger for a Samsung laptop—something shows a complete lack of professionalism. There is absolutely no excuse for this.
When I contacted customer support the next morning, they refused to help because the order was picked up in-store. Their “solution” was for me to call other stores and locate a charger myself. This is not customer service—it’s pushing responsibility back onto the customer for Best Buy’s mistake.
Advertising a product as “excellent condition” while omitting essential components is misleading, irresponsible, and completely unacceptable. I expected far better from a company of this size. Instead, I was met with false advertising, poor management, and zero accountability.
