Bought a computer
Had 14 days to return
On day 14 tried to return tried to return to some random gift card.
Asked for a store credit they said no
Told me I could only go pick something immediately and buy instantly
This was after customer service told me I could return it on the phone without problems
Everybody in the store is really nice always ready to help. It’s where I get all my sports cards.
Smooth transaction for in store pickup
Gone are the days when you can call and within just a couple minutes not only confirm that a product is available but have it held for you up front or any other help you might need through the magic of HUMAN COMMUNICATION. Now you are forced to waste your time with a broken "AI" (misnomer, no intelligence). By the time a person could be helping you with your request, this thing still prefacing you with "I'm still learning so I might not get everything right."
It offends me that competent human beings are being replaced with a chat bot that needs to warn you of its incompetence so that a corporation can grow those margins as everyone's experience becomes worse.
I gave up on getting the items I needed and will be very unlikely to give any more of my money to this corporation.
Also, crazy that there doesn't seem to be an email for customer support... not everyone uses social media. Guess it fits the theme of alienating more customers.
