Best Buy Plymouth Meeting

Sadly this cooperation just doesnt care about maintaining customers. The store itself is very nice, clean and has a decent selection of merchandise and employees in the different sections to help customers. So I give it 3 stars, but im very disappointed in some of the decisions I assume were made by executives for the company as a whole. They may want to re consider some of their policies... namely the restocking fee of 15% regardless of whether the customer intends to just get store credit/ exchange for another product instead. I definitely understand the fee for a normal refund as once the product is open the store does have to lose some profit by putting the open box discount on it. I think that is totally fair and have no issue with that. But charging the penalty when the customer wants store credit or an exchange of merchandise is just plain dumb for lack of a better word. Keeping the money in the business seems like a no brainer!... and in my case I purchased a product based on less than good advice from a representative at the store because the item i wanted was out of stock. I was going to see if I could have the store order the other item which was $200 more expensive and exchange the product i got. So all in all the cooperation lost about $900 dollars because I went to a different store to make that purchase. Seems minimal compared to whatever the loss they had for the open box discount. So best buy executives please please reconsider that policy. It honestly never used to be that way... you could always get the full amount so long as you got store credit or did the exchange. So i don't know who or why the decision was done away with but trust me it was not a good one!

This Plymouth Meeting Best Buy is terrific. It's why it's still worthwhile to actually go to the store sometimes. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable assistance from staff who are genuine about it. Really good crew across multiple visits.

In and out quick, customer service is just meh, security guy at front laughed at me when he said hi while I was on a phone call walking into the store, it was strange
