*O stars really. Avoid Best Buy at all costs!
I placed an order for a phone that was promised to be delivered the next day. Wasn't delivered the next day, okay fine, I called to check and was told it would take one more day. Fast forward to now, and I’ve been informed the phone won’t arrive for another 3 WEEKS. That’s bad enough, but the real kicker? They won’t even let me cancel the order online or over the phone, so that I can go shop elsewhere where I would ACTUALLY get the product and the service I'm paying for.
This is completely unacceptable for a company of this size. I will NEVER shop at Best Buy again and will be warning everyone I know to stay far away. They clearly care more about locking in a sale than actually delivering on what they promise.
So about 2 years ago I went to Best Buy bought a whole new car radio which had apple play, XM radio. I spent good money with the install for my jeep. I have a really good amplifier and speakers my jeep was tricked out by the previous owner. I just didn’t like not having apple play So the tech hooks everything up and tells me how I need things rewired. I figured ok maybe down the road. Meanwhile only one side of the jeep is working. So all of a sudden no speakers are working. So I’m like something is off. Well I take the dashboard off and yeah it was off. The power feeding the amp was cut and tapped off. I spent a hour getting the other side to work so now I have to go reconnect what they cut off on the system. If you guys are like this for $600 bucks it’s not worth the hassle then they kept rebilling me for there membership bs. Stay clear of this place
Matt Lyons is a “Top Notch” Best Buy Geek Squad employee in the Willow Grove, PA store. Recently, I was pressed into buying a new laptop – mine had crashed and was not able to be repaired. Matt was a great help getting my new laptop set up and running, which included transferring files and installing all the new software and even sharing with me a few points about how to care for my new equipment. He also helped my sister by updating her 8-year-old, still-working laptop, to “like-new” condition to keep her business operating a bit longer until she can buy a new one. That’s what Matt does – he goes above and beyond with his Customer Service! All-in-all, Matt is a pleasant, calm, very patient, personable, soft-spoken Agent who is extremely knowledgeable with all things “computer tech.” In our opinion, Matt is a vital asset to Best Buy!
