Came to give a low review of their “Apple Certified Repairs”, and after reading other reviews, it seems that I am in good company.
I made an appointment this week for an open time slot for an iPhone repair. I was texted multiple times to ensure my appointment was correct, and confirmed. I arrived 15 minutes early, and they were able to see my appointment. I go to check in, and the worker says “we no longer do same day repairs, I can fill out a paper and have you come in tomorrow.” I didn’t want my phone repaired tomorrow. I made the appointment for today. When questioned about this policy, she indicated that this was normal practice. Pure laziness on the employees and Best Buy for not disclosing that a paper needed to be filled out, in store, prior to the appointment.
This location (and really all Best Buys) customer service has really tanked the ver the years. That is why people like to call Best Buy “amazon’s showroom”.
TL:DR; don’t schedule iPhone repairs here if you actually want it fixed.
