I am absolutely furious with my recent experience purchasing a high-end computer from Best Buy online. I spent thousands of dollars expecting a reliable machine and premium service, but instead, I feel completely ripped off.
Because of my incredibly busy work schedule I order it for them online and it took me about a week to finally unbox and set up the computer. Exactly one week after that, the system started experiencing major hardware failures. When I checked to see how to return this defective product, I discovered Best Buy’s ridiculous, anti-consumer 15-day return window had already closed. Because I live far away from the nearest physical store and work demanding hours, making a rushed trip in that tiny timeframe was impossible.
Out of desperation, I had to pay $40 out of my own pocket for a bestbuy technician to look at it, hoping it was just a quick software fix. Instead, they confirmed it is a major hardware defect and told me it has to go back to the store anyway.
Selling a multi-thousand-dollar piece of junk that breaks in 7 days, and then using a hyper-restrictive return policy to trap customers who live far away, feels like a total scam. Best Buy clearly does not care about working professionals or customer satisfaction. Save your money and buy directly from the manufacturer or a retailer that actually stands behind what they sell. I will never buy from them again.

A very positive experience. I purchased a laptop. I knew what I wanted, but I was also willing to listen to recommendations.
I had the good fortune of being helped by Dimas. Dimas is well versed in the area of laptops/technology. He listened to what my needs and interests were and provided sound recommendations.
Dimas made an often times complex process stress free. Best Buy on 378 in Lexington, SC. Same plaza as Target.
Solid experience!
