Worst experience ever. I have a laptop under warranty with Lenovo Best Buy/geek squad is listed as an authorized repair service under Lenovo‘s carry in one year warranty. I contacted Lenovo. They advised us to go to geek squad and schedule an appointment and bring our warranty paperwork provided by Lenovo to geek squad in order to get our laptop repaired. Once we did that we were faced with we do not work on any laptops under that warranty, you must have a geek squad or Best Buy warranty. They gave us a list of parts or solutions that we should purchase in order to repair our laptop. We took their advice and went home. Come to find out Told us was absolutely false and was not anywhere close to a solution to our problem. Once we realize this, we contacted Lenovo swiftly to try to find a better solution. They responded with to contact two companies, data network solutions in Chapin or contact geek squad as they are the only Area that is listed that is an authorized carry in repair service under their Warranty. I called Best Buy and Best Buy continues to claim that they only service Apple products under Apple warranties and do not service Warranties advise me to call Lenovo once again to confirm the information. And what a shocker when I called Lenovo again and confirmed the same information. I was already told over and over again that Best Buy/geek squad an authorized dealer. All you have to do is walk in or call them to schedule an appointment. They should be able to provide us with service Geek squad/Best Buy responds with that we have to pay out-of-pocket and deal with the warranty ourselves even though they are a authorized dealer/warranty filler. Our experience with Best Buy is absolutely disgusting the lack of communication between manufacturer and a store who Sells overwhelmingly amounts of Lenovo product and is a listed Lenovo authorized warranty dealer Is appalling. Geek squad/Best Buy has no solutions, but for us to spend more money paying for more product or services to fix our laptop, which they already duped this into buying when we went into the store. This will be the last time I purchase any product from Best Buy period! Good way to loose a customer who has spend thousands with you.
