About a month ago I called Best Buy in Myrtle Beach, SC to request a quote for speakers for my car. I spoke to a woman and she told me that it would cost $79.99 for the installation plus the charge for the speakers. Last week I went to Myrtle Beach Best Buy to purchase those speakers and schedule an installation. Well as I was about to purchase them , an employee told me that they don't handle installing speakers anymore. He then sent me to North Carolina. Mind you I don't live close in either direction. When I got back home , I called up to get a completely different answer and I was again told that they can install the speakers at Myrtle Beach Best Buy. They also gave me a completely different quote .In the past , I always went to Best Buy because honestly they were the best. Their customer service is terrible now and I will never be back again !! It's very sad how Best Buy has changed. If there was an option for no stars trust me I would have put it.

It is overall a good Best Buy. Good staff, good selection. I would suggest updating the website as well as ensuring that the "call center" staff actually be accurate and informed of the Myrtle Beach location. No one appreciates being lied to when calling and searching stock availability on your website. Especially when we travel 30 minutes solely based upon the information we are given. Attempting to upsale me when I specifically requested as well as presented the supposed stock availability claimed on the website was irritating. I came only for a specific charger for my brand new $179 headset. Why would I want to buy another $179 headset that you'd ensure has the charger in the box? Rediculous. But I do like your store.
