Made an online order that stated my order will be ready for pickup within 1hr. Came to the store waited for 2 hrs and the order never came through. Had to cancel my order. Disappointed, and don’t recommend making an online order.

4 reasons. They only have 1 checkout register for a huge warehouse store. 2. They're slower than the DMV. 3. Their online order system is too slow. 4. No self checkout.

My husband and I were on the hunt to find a basic laptop. We didn’t need anything fancy, just something to check emails and use from time to time when traveling. (We have a high powered Mac at home, we didn’t need the latest and greatest Windows laptop.) We went into Best Buy considering it’s one of the few “electronic specific stores” left, especially here in the upstate… WHAT A JOKE! We went to the back area of where the laptops are located and my husband begins to describe what we’re looking for to the salesman. (For whatever reason he was in a red shirt compared to the rest of the gentlemen in the blue shirts.) He proceeded to argue with my husband and tried to tell him all the ways that he needs something better (to which were all out of our budget price range). After my husband turned him down, the salesman proceeded to get snippy and told him “The value wall is over there,” and then walked off. Then after looking at a couple of options, all of them were out of stock… So, unfortunately it was a terrible experience. If you aren’t going to listen to what the customer needs, you need to find a new profession. Overall, very disappointing customer service and experience overall. We will not be returning.
(We went to the Walmart across the street and they were VERY helpful with better pricing options. Unexpected happy ending!)
