Best Buy is very predictable. Swamp you when you come through the door, but the second you actually need someone, they have all seemingly checked out for the day.

Months ago, I pre-ordered Borderlands 4. I was hyped—like, counting down-the-days hyped. Fast forward to release day… and apparently my preorder had vanished into their system like Claptrap hiding behind a vending machine. I stood there, clutching my receipt like it was a lost treasure map, feeling like the hero in the saddest cutscene ever. I walked out, head down, like the ending of a sad indie game. But then it hit me—I wanted justice. I stormed back in, slapped my receipt on the counter, and declared, “I demand action!” Suddenly, three employees jumped into motion like a fully leveled-up RPG party. One was digging through the computer, one was rummaging through drawers, and the last was flipping through binders like he was decoding the Dead Sea Scrolls. After 20 minutes of pure chaos, they finally found my preorder. I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry—so I awkwardly thanked them, and left feeling like I had survived a legendary side quest. Also, if you ever try to reach them by phone… hey, give us a call! It’s not like we won’t answer… and all of us laugh about it because we all know it’s true—we probably won’t. 😂
