Ordered an open box laptop that was local pickup only and rated as good, which online is described as “may be missing non-essential parts.” Tried calling the store several times to validate the condition before making the 2-hour drive to pick it up-no possible way to get past the AI answering service to actually speak to someone in the store. Decided to risk it anyway. Arrived to pick it up and no box (ok), no power supply ( I would call that an essential accessory), and 1-yr manufacturer’s warranty that was expired. Manager could have cared less. Would not provide a power supply ($60), offered to sell me a $279 warranty and told me I could “fill out a survey online” and let Best Buy know I was not happy. He also confirmed there is no possible way to call and reach a local employee at the store. By the time I paid for all of that, would have been more expensive than a new one. Best But online-complete misrepresentation of laptop condition, store manager who could care less, call center AI agent that is useless and designed to not ever allow you to speak to a person in the store-poor job all around. The checkout clerk was polite, though.

Scheduled an appointment with Geek Squad for a battery replacement on my phone. Arrived for my appointment (four hours before closing time) and had diagnostics run on my phone. The associate informed me that my battery could be replaced however it would take 3-4 hours. Because the store was closing (in four hours) he suggested I bring it back the next morning to keep from leaving it over night. I asked twice if I needed to make another appointment and he assured me that I did not. He said I may have to wait in line for a few minutes, but that an appointment was not necessary. I arrived at the store the next morning to the "manager" telling me that I would have to wait in line to be helped (totally fine). She then went onto say that it would be 20-30 minutes before she finished the phone she was working on and that each person that came in with an appointment would be put in front of me as well. According to the schedule on the screen at the counter, appointments were scheduled every 20 minutes for the next four hours, ultimately noting that I would be waiting four hours to be helped unless I wanted to SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT for the next available one (in four hours). I explained what I had been told, and had confirmed in regards to not being offered an appointment. I completely understand protocol and the purpose of making an appointment, which is why I tried to make one. I had already made two, 30 minute trips to be store, only to be told I could come back 4 hours later to potentially be waiting on ( stock not guaranteed) the part needed for my phone. I will not be returning to this store, and would recommend that other seek out services at another near by store because this one is a JOKE.
I was looking to buy a tv they had for $330 and the day i went to purchase the tv the price had went up to over $500 and they would NOT honor the previous deal. Stay away from this place, just buy your stuff online for a way cheaper cost and these brick and motar stores wonder why they are failing.......

Having concerns with deals changing and prices not being the same on different days can be difficult. We do recommend purchasing products the day you see the price you are looking for as deals do changes and only the MSRP rarely changes depending on manufacturer pricing.
