We were in the store for about an hour working with a staff member to choose a TV. After almost every option they gave us being out of stock we finally purchased and took the TV home. When we opened the box the TV was cracked down the front. We totally understand mistakes happen so we took it back. The man who helped us load the tv into our car shared he “knew something was wrong with the tv” we had purchased. After waiting almost 20 minutes, the lady explained she couldn’t help and we would need to wait for a manager. After 45 minutes, the manager explained the only TV we could take home today was $435 dollars more and there was nothing he could do about the crack. He shared they were not able to give any discount (even after our previous sales lady was bragging about how amazing their employee discounts are on all electronics). As we were checking out the second time, he tried to upsell us on a monthly plan for Best Buy members. Finally we waiting 10 minutes to get the TV loaded into our car, only for them to tell us the TV would not fit. My boyfriend and I then had to load the TV in the car as we knew it fit since we had taken the same size TV home hours prior. Overall, very disappointed not even an apology was given for the hours we spent dealing with this issue.
Geek Squad, after being scheduled for 2 weeks, called on delivery day to say they would not be coming now or for anything else I ever bought at Best Buy. No reason given.
