I had the most unwelcoming, unprofessional, and hostile experience with the store manager Tara. How she’s allowed to talk to customers is beyond me, I’ve also seen her treat her employees even worse. She over talks you, claims your lying, stated that “her opinion is fact and final because she’s the GM” When asked who her manager is so I can report blatant disrespect she responded with “I don’t have a manger there is no one higher then myself” That is the most unprofessional and snobby response I have ever heard in my life. She really should be fired or demoted, a general manager shouldn’t have that type of attitude or condescending tone with customers. They are suppose to be a role model, show their employees how they should act and how they should provide customer service. She clearly only cares about herself, I ended up going to Madison and got the BEST customer service and will always go to that location from now on.
Ordered a Sony Head unit on March 16th and scheduled free install on April 7th. My niece arrived at the location only to find no one at the installation bay, so she went up front to get help. They told her to wait while the installer gets ready. Later a manager comes out to tell her they are doing construction on their pavement and we should have been notified of the cancellation. This was a lie because she drove back there already and there was no construction going on.
I received confirmation of the installation that morning, and there were no emails or calls from anyone regarding the cancellation. The manager told her they had to reschedule her and couldn't do it until April 19th. Over 1 month wait to do a 1-2 hour job!?! I called their support and they were notified that someone had an emergency medical issue that's why the install was cancelled. Really?
This is the first time I have ever ordered any car audio equipment from Best Buy and surely will be my last. When you have a manager who lies to you, it's not worth trying to save a few bucks.
