5/27/26: Drove an hour to this location and borrowed a truck just to pick up a TV advertised as “Open Box - Like New,” only for it to be completely busted. The box was damaged and barely holding together, and they refused to let us inspect the TV before loading it into the truck. They simply said we had 14 days to return it if there was an issue.
Now we have to make another long drive to Burleson just to try to return it. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.
UPDATE 5/28/26: I went back to the Arlington location to attempt a return, and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about the store manager, Ashley. She completely turned around what had been an extremely stressful and frustrating situation. From the moment we spoke with her, she was patient, compassionate, professional, and incredibly understanding. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and takes pride in doing the right thing.
Ashley made the entire return process smooth, easy, and stress-free. She didn’t dismiss our concerns or make us feel like an inconvenience. Instead, she listened, reassured us, and handled everything with kindness and professionalism. She even said she would personally look into the situation with the open-box inspection process to help improve the customer experience moving forward, which honestly meant a lot.
Managers like Ashley are rare. She is exactly the type of person who should be leading a team because she knows how to de-escalate a stressful situation while still making customers feel heard, valued, and respected. The rest of the staff was very kind and helpful as well, but Ashley truly stood out and made a lasting impression.
Because of her, I would absolutely do business with this location again. Best Buy needs more managers like Ashley.
