Thanks to the Greek squad guy! I came in this morning to see about dealing with a triple boot machine where the Windows loader was dead. Was very thankful the guy at the counter let me know they can't image the drive but that it's probably not encrypted.
Less scrupulous folks might have wiped the drive and charged me for "fixing" it, so I really appreciated him letting me know it was out of their service range. It also gave me enough info to possibly fix myself.
