I originally went to this Best Buy to have a new car stereo installed. The manager was friendly and was very confident while helping me select the necessary installation parts (dash kit, wiring harness, etc.). He sold me several items and even recommended I purchase one additional part from Amazon. When I showed up for my scheduled installation appointment at the New Braunfels Best Buy two weeks later, the installer immediately noticed that multiple parts sold to me in Austin were incorrect and completely incompatible with my vehicle. The New Braunfels technician said this was at least the second recent case he’d seen of the Austin store selling customers the wrong components for the same type of install. It turned a straightforward installation into a hassle and I’m pretty frustrated, and I can’t get money back from the part I got from Amazon. Everyone I dealt with was polite, so this may have been an honest mistake, but it’s frustrating when you rely on the “experts” and end up with the wrong parts anyway. Manager convinced me he knew what he was talking about, and set me up to pay more money at the end of it by selling me the wrong parts. Intentional or not, they should have actual experts selling people these kinds of things. That’s why I went in the first place lol.

I feel over years the service has deteriorated a lot. Sales folks are not motivated to help customers. They do not educate them on options available. They do not ask clients requirements. I went shopping for Sonos soundbar, subwoofer etc. I ended buying from Costco because their customer service was very helpful, courteous My suggestion would be to Best Buy is train your staff to be helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about products they sell to customers.

Great selection of kitchen appliances. Many appliances are even plugged in, so you can try them out. Chris Linville was super helpful in recommending different options and pointing us toward appliances and range hides that would fit our planned kitchen design.
