Have never been one to go out of my way to leave reviews, unless they were positive. I could not of been more disappointed in the professionalism and lack of customer service associated with this location (9607 Research Blvd). With what started with an already flawed company-wide online inventory software that does not track real time data, but tracks the data every 24 hours. This led me to a store on the other side of the city to pick up my order, where I was told that they did have the items I ordered in stock but another location across town would. I asked if they had confirmed with the other location that their store had the product in stock. I was told they had not yet called and confirmed with them but that they would immediately and then return a call to me with this confirmation. This never happened. When we finally arrived at the location of 9607 Research Blvd, We were greeted by a gentlemen who had my order prepared and ready to go. I asked if they had received a call from the staff at the round rock location about my order and he said they had not. This is when we were greeted by the supervisor on duty by the name of, "Ryan T". Not only were we not offered any form of condolence for the issue caused from their system and lack of communication, but were solicited with, "I am not here to be handing out free money to people". While I didn't infer or ask about how active he was in philanthropy, he felt the need to tell us anyway. Lack of accountability, professionalism, and the understanding of customer service. Disappointment in it's highest fashion with my experience here at this location and with it's management.
Ordered online this AM, ready for pickup in 1hr
We drove to Best Buy all the way in Round Rock to receive a phone call when pulling in the parking lot saying they do not have the products we already paid for (first point of failure). The Round Rock manager told us their online inventory updates only once per day but a store 25 minutes away had the products (Research Blvd). We asked if they called the store to make sure they have the products, as they mentioned their system updates only once per day. They said they did not call (second point of failure) but will asap and call us to confirm - never did (third point, but there will be many more). When we arrived at the other store, a nice gentleman apologized for the inconvenience and informed us no one called them store to confirm as we were promised by the Round Rock management. Since the first associate said not to waist time coming in for resolution when it came to the compensation for the inconvenience of spending our time and gas driving from one side of the city to the other side, he told us the management at the store of the product pick up location will be able to make adjustments. When the supervisor, RYAN T, came, he was very unprofessional. He kept saying there is no way he can give us “free money”- mind you we never asked for money, we asked for compensation for the inconvenience caused. We explained the fact we just spent 1.5hr driving back and forth the city - our time and money spent on gas is valuable to us. He said he understands how frustrating this can be BUT he “cant just hand out money for free to people who complain”. We mentioned we are not asking for cash. You can see how frustrating this is?? We have spent $3,000 in month of October so far at Best Buy purchasing electronics/appliances for our household. And then RYAN T tells us we are just “complainers who are asking for free money”? And the best part is - as I’m writing this review on our 30 minute way back, I received an email from Best Buy telling me to come and finish purchasing the item in my cart (I put the same product in the cart to see if the inventory updated online).
They recycle old batteries and electronics which is great for the environment
